Headset
Operation
The TVA remote
control requires the installation of the 1/8" stereo headphone
jack on the dashboard or under it as preference dictates.
It accepts "walkman-type" stereo headphones. The volume heard
through the headphones can be adjusted through the volume
button on the remote. There are 10 levels of volume, which
is read of the LED as L4, or L8 representing listening levels.
For private TV audio listening the vehicleÕs stereo can be
turned off or set for listening to other audio material while
TV audio is heard through the headphones.
WARNING:
It is dangerous and illegal in most states for the operator
of a vehicle to wear headphones while operating a motor vehicle.
The headphone jack is intended for passenger use only.
NOTE:
A mono 1/8" headphone plug, as found on an earplug, cannot
be used with TVA. A stereo-to-mono adapter is needed to accommodate
a mono phone plug.
Power
Connection
The power lead
may be connected to the vehicleÕs stereoÕs power antenna lead.
This will power down TVA whenever the VehicleÕs stereo is
powered down.
