| TVA TUNERS allow the user to listen to the audio portion
of over-the-air broadcast VHF and UHF television programs through
their vehicle's stereo system. TVA utilizes the vehicle's
existing antenna and places the TV audio on a pre-selected frequency
(i.e. 89.1 MHz) in the FM Broadcast band. The TV audio signal
is treated as any other FM radio station and all stereo controls
(volume, balance, etc.) operate on the TV audio signal just
as on any FM station. A small control head is mounted on the
dashboard within easy reach and is connected via a thin cable
to a small "black box" hidden behind the dashboard. |
