 Installation
The
installation of the TVA 2000™ and TVA 3000™ tuner
is a relatively simple procedure for many who have a limited
amount of car maintenance experience. The following are the
phases required in properly affixing the tuners to your car.
Phase I:
Remove the faceplate cover that is usually affixed to the
dashboard with fasteners or fasterners and a few screws. A
plate or panel cover remover tool would be used.
The Tool is used
to remove the cover.
The radio unscrewed
from its mounting or is pulled out from its locked in positon.
See car grid and recap schedule which provided general rules
by car manufacturer as to normal removal procedures.
The radio wires
are coded and the Television Audio, Inc.'s tranreceiver tuner
wire (color yellow) is spliced together with existing radioÕs
yellow wire which provides constant electrical power to the
tuner.
The transceiver
module (Black Box) has straps, adhesive velcro, and wire straps
available for permanent affixing to the inside portion of
the radio mounting compartment. The best method to use is
the one that relies on a common sense conclusion.
At this juncture
the TVA 2000tm and the TVA 3000tm require different approaches
for the affixing of the TVA 2000tm tuner module head controller
versus the TVA 3000tm tuner IR receiver and headphone jack.
The TVA 2000tm
tuner: The head controller will be affixed to the dashboard
of the car via velcro and have a wire attached from the black
box to the contoller.
The wire can be
fed from the transreceiver black box through the plastic cover
to the velcro affixed controller which is mounted conveniently
and strategicly on the dashboard. The wire can be fed out
of the transreciver black box from behind the radio unit through
a side of the black box up through the front along a side
of the multi media unit guided by self adhesive guide clips
to the velcro affixed controller.
The face plate
cover is replaced by reversing removal operation. The tuner
installation is finished
The TVA 3000tm
tuner: The IR and the head phone jack will be attached
through a 1/2" inch drilled hole in the plastic cover or the
dashboard or any where it is best affixed within reach of
the IR remote controller transmission.
The face plate
cover is replaced by reversing removal operation. The installation
is completed.
